Gary L. Trujillo

Gary Trujillo founded Southwest Harvard Group (SHG) in 1988 and has served as the firm's President & CEO since inception.

Gary began his career in 1983 as a financial analyst in institutional sales and trading with Salomon Brothers in New York. He later joined the investment bank RBC Dain Raucher in San Francisco where he specialized in corporate and public finance. Gary subsequently served as a staff assistant to L. William Seidman, Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in Washington, DC.

In 1999, while concurrently continuing his management oversight of SHG, Gary joined the Internet company Quepasa.com, Inc. as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. While at Quepasa, he led both the completion of a $55 million initial public offering for the company and the assemblage of a world-class, independent Board of Directors.

Gary is an MBA graduate of the Harvard Business School. He also holds a Bachelors Degree, Cum Laude, in Accounting from Arizona State University. He currently serves as a board member for Wells Fargo Bank of Arizona and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.
